Celebs go basket!Local showbiz acts joined their fans last week and bonded over basketball, a charity event that saw over Sh100,000 get raised for a children’s home.
Top entertainers among them Nonini, Shaffie Weru, Jalang’o, Collo, Kus Ma, Tiri, DJ Kaydee, Wawesh, Bamboo, Pilipili and the MCSK CEO Maurice Okoth among others battled to beat three other local teams during the tournament held in Imara Daima last Thursday.
“This is a rare show of unity among celebrities and we plan to go on with the tournament. All the money raised during the tournaments will be going to different charity events,” Maurice said.
The next tournament will take place next month June 1 and practice sessions goes on every Sunday
