Despite
all the publicizing and build up that was done, yesterday’s Saba Saba
rally attracted one of the smallest crowd Raila has seen at Uhuru Park
in recent years.
The park is usually full to capacity during Raila-led events, but
yesterday was different with big empty patches seen all around.
The rally was initially set to start at 10 am, but started 6 hours later after a sizable number of people had converged.
There has been quite some speculations, with Senator Murkomen
writing on Twitter, “Is that the crowd? Iko shida.Fatigue already set
in.”
Raila was at the same venue a few weeks ago, after jetting back from the United States.
